Hello there, dear reader,
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Juliet Staveley: author, writer, editor and lover of pangolins.
After 10 years as a journalist in London, I switched to freelance copywriting and editing, as well as to fiction... a giant leap that involved far too much coffee and self-doubt. I have since received a handful of awards and ISBN numbers for my scribblings (my possessed typing fingers have also tricked me into working on a novel and screenplay).
I grew up with an English teacher mother, so it was probably inevitable that I'd end up in the words business. And while they are my business, writing and editing are also sheer joys for me. I understand the power words have, for both the good and bad. However, you'd be surprised how many companies lose out, or how many manuscripts are thrown into a publisher's recycling bin, purely because people get stuck for the right phrases or simply don't know what works and what sells.
This is where I step in (ta da!). I help companies and individuals all over the planet to find the words they need, to boost their profits and to sprinkle some magic on their latest project. Maybe I could be your superhero too?
